VPN stopped working...

Hey guys, I purchased and downloaded a movie from the app store last night. The download took a little longer than expected but managed to get there in the end, however, I've noticed that my VPN has stopped working all of a sudden. I'm starting to think it was some kind of cyber attack. Has anyone had a similar issue happen to them?
