Does PFS work with VPN to prevent cyber attacks?

Hello. I have heard about how beneficial it is to use Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) encryption to prevent data from being compromised by cyber criminals, due to the unique session keys that are generated. Therefore, I am hoping to use PFS encryption with my VPN. However, I do not know if this is possible to do. Does anyone know if PFS works with VPN? TYIA.
