Is it legal to bypass geo-blocking for content, not in my location?

Asked 2 years ago

I want to follow the NBA and all the matches just like my grandfather used to in his day. The only problem is that the NBA is not available in my country. I have a VPN, but I don't know if this will prevent me from bypassing geo-blocking for content not available in my country. Is it legal to bypass geo-blocking in this way? Please help!

There is a mixed opinion regarding using geo-blocked content through a VPN. If a website is blocked or illegal without a VPN, it is still illegal with a VPN. However, some argue that accessing any content available in only specific regions is unethical. However, everyone agrees that doing crimes, like cyberbullying, illegal substance trading, and so on, through VPN is a big NO! Something innocent like watching an NBA match is allowed according to many laws. Check your country's laws for more precise information.
