Will a VPN provide me with protection against keyloggers?
Asked 2 years ago
Hello. I was under the impression that malware always needs to be installed on a device, until I recently found out that this is not the case with keyloggers. Apparently this type of malware can infect a device merely by visiting websites. With that said, I'm looking to buy a VPN to protect my device against keyloggers. However, I do not know if a VPN is suitable for this purpose. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance.

It is correct that the keylogger does not need additional malware installed in the system. However, its primary mechanism of action is the same. In the software keylogger, sites may contain suspicious malware that causes the problem. However, premium VPN services like Nordlayer can block these sites and save you from the attack.
