Do I have to enable cookies in my browser if I use a VPN for browsing?

Asked 2 years ago

I am quite paranoid about being tracked online when I use the internet. I decided to start using a VPN to make my browsing experience more secure. Now that I use a VPN for browsing, do I have to enable cookies in my browser? And will these cookies make me vulnerable again?

It is irritating when you open a website and a pop-up message forces you to accept the cookies. Sometimes, you can't even access the website when you don't accept.

Although VPN is an excellent security tool, it doesn't stop cookies from tracking you. However, the VPN may feed false information to the cookie tracker due to a different IP location and address.

Another thing you can do is to clear your cache and cookies after visiting a website to clear your browsing pathway.
