Proofpoint Launches a new cloud-native security platform, Information Protection and Cloud Security Platform. The company also announced its latest people-centric advancements in Threat Protection and Compliance Platforms, including its new Supernova detection platform.
Proofpoint, Inc., a leading provider of cybersecurity and compliance solutions, today announced several new people-centric features and capabilities across its three flagship platforms, Threat Protection, Compliance, and the new Information Protection and Cloud Security.
Proofpoints Information Protection & Cloud Security Platform is a next generation cloud security platform that combines enterprise data protection, insider threat management, and cloud app security broker with end-to-end security. Other features include a single sign-on, zero trust network access, and remote browser isolation.

Today’s advancements at Proofpoint encompass more than just email security. They encompass a broad range of security tools that every day, analyze 2.2 billion email messages, 35 billion URLs, 200 million attachments, 35 million cloud accounts to help organizations protect against the most sophisticated threats.
The New Proofpoint Information and Cloud Security Platform has two modules, Web Security and Managed Transition Services.
Web Security: Available starting with Protect 2021, it is a new cloud native security solution from Proofpoint that provides web security controls and isolation.
“When combined with Proofpoint’s CASB, remote browser isolation, and Zero Trust Network access solutions, organizations are provided a new SASE security architecture that can ensure access control coupled with threat and data protection for users accessing applications on the internet, cloud services, and private applications,” the news release says.
Managed Transition Services: With the Intelisecure integration, which has deep expertise in migration and decommissioning, this new service helps organizations migrate legacy DLP products to a more secure and reliable environment.
