Should I use multi-factor authentication with my VPN?

Asked 2 years ago

Hi, I'm wondering what the safety levels of a VPN are. I can understand that with any online transactions there's a two-way authentication, but is it really necessary for a VPN? Has there ever been a VPN (without a multi-factor authentication) hack before?

Undoubtedly, multi-factor authentication is an ideal response to make your account safe and unbreachable. MFA ensures your account safety even if the breacher knows your password and username. With MFA enabled through VPN, anyone accessing your account must go through an extra factorial layer or multiple levels that increase security.
