Should I get a premium VPN if I want protection against snoopers?

Asked 2 years ago

I sometimes need a change of scenery from working in my home office, so I go to a few coffee shops and restaurants to get some work done. Working from home has its downsides, one being being bored of being in one place all the time. I do get worried about my online data being exposed in these kinds of settings. Can a VPN protect my data from public Wi-Fi hotspot snoopers when I am accessing public Wi-Fi?

Any time you access a public network, your system becomes more vulnerable to cyber threats. Connecting through a public network transforms your online presence into an open book for the breachers. However, enabling a VPN eliminates this security risk by creating a secure and encrypted tunnel between your destination and your system network. However, remember that not every VPN will keep you safe from snoopers. To ensure optimal data protection, go for any VPN with an AES-256 encryption protocol.
