Is it useful to use a VPN to prevent a pharming attack?

Asked a year ago

Hi. Not along ago I heard about how hackers use pharming attacks to lure people into websites under the guise of low prices for example. This is concerning for me, due to the fact that I am always looking out for bargains while shopping online. I therefore am looking for ways to protect my server and device from this type of attack while I shop. Anyone know if using a VPN is effective for this? TYIA.

Getting a VPN is one of the ideal approaches to prevent a pharming attack. Usually, hackers target IP addresses for active tracking and user information capturing. This problem is sorted out with the use of a VPN. A virtual private network prevents any ISP from tracking or monitoring your activities based on IP addresses. Besides, it uses a well-protected and encrypted tunnel to transfer information across devices.
