Is it better to use a VPN or a leased line for my business?

Hi there. I have heard that getting a VPN is cheaper than getting a leased line for a business. However, I am unsure about what the difference is between a leased line and a VPN. Do both of these offer encryption and connectivity?

The main difference between a VPN and a leased line is that a leased line usually has no security implemented. This means that all of your flowing business data is readable by your ISP. Of course, leased lines offer much higher bandwidth, leading to higher Internet speeds. The good news is that you can still use them in conjunction - a leased line for the speed and a VPN for the security factor.
