Can I be protected from IP spoofing by using a VPN?
Hello. I have heard from a friend that hackers are able to spoof trusted IP addresses in order to obtain access into a computer network. Apparently this is called IP spoofing. As far as I know, VPNs are able to provide anonymous IP addresses to hide an IP address. But does anyone know if VPNs protect against IP spoofing? TYIA. Asked a year ago

Hello. As someone who types very fast, I am prone to miss-typing a URL when trying to find a website. However, I have heard that this type of mistake can be dangerous due to the fact that it can lead to landing on a fake website which can further lead to a typosquatting attack.
